Ras Al Khaimah Launches Its First Tourism Excellence Awards
The inaugural Tourism Excellence Awards recognize outstanding achievements in Ras Al Khaimah's tourism and hospitality sector.
Under the patronage of Sheikh Ahmed bin Saud bin Saqr Al Qasimi, Chairman of the Public Services Department in Ras Al Khaimah, the Ras Al Khaimah Tourism Development Authority (RAKTDA) hosted its inaugural Tourism Excellence Awards. This initiative aims to honor the remarkable achievements within the emirate’s tourism and hospitality sector.
Held on May 21, 2025, at the Mövenpick Resort Al Marjan Island, the awards ceremony assembled industry leaders and professionals to celebrate those demonstrating exceptional performance and innovation in establishing Ras Al Khaimah as a premier tourist destination.
The first edition included six award categories: Corporate Hospitality Excellence, Individual Innovation, Culinary Artistry, Hospitality Leadership, Community Involvement, and Environmental Responsibility. This framework is designed to reflect the diverse aspects of the tourism ecosystem, rewarding contributions from personal talents to corporate initiatives.
