LuxeGlamp Eco-resorts, known for luxury glamping experiences in India, unveils its first international location at Umm Al Quwain in the UAE. The LuxeGlamp UAQ marks the region’s inaugural eco-tourism glamping retreat.

The ceremonial foundation marking took place under the guidance of Sheikh Majid bin Saud bin Rashid Al Mualla, emphasizing a collective commitment to sustainable tourism. Nestled within the Umm Al Quwain Mangrove Reserve, the site features ten 1,000-square-foot glass-domed suites.

Antony Thomas, the founder and CEO, expresses, “LuxeGlamp UAQ illustrates the global potential of Indian eco-luxury hospitality. We are delighted to present our nature-centric design ethos to a broader audience. A distinctive feature of this location is our Luxe Bistro, a stunning glass-domed fine dining experience offering a blend of Indian, Middle Eastern, and Mediterranean dishes, crafted using local and sustainable ingredients.”

Spanning 50 acres with minimal ecological impact, LuxeGlamp UAQ redefines luxury with environmental consciousness. Designed harmoniously with nature, the resort includes insightful features such as private plunge pools, wooden decks, saunas, and hammocks, all with breathtaking views of the Arabian Gulf and lush mangroves.

The sustainability highlights include:

  • Completely eco-conscious design with no permanent structures or soil disturbance.
  • Solar-powered operations.
  • Use of recyclable materials including tempered glass and aluminum.
  • Sustainable bamboo utilized for 80% of wood constructions.
  • No single-use plastics
  • Balinese-style interiors combined with local cultural elements.

With the launch of this project, LuxeGlamp continues to reinforce its reputation in India for its environmentally-sensitive retreats in Kodaikanal and Munnar while also entering the global stage with a showcase of Indian innovative sustainable tourism.
