New Frequent Flyer Partnership Between Etihad Airways and TAP Air Portugal
Etihad Airways and TAP Air Portugal announce a collaboration allowing members to earn and redeem miles across both airlines.
Etihad Airways, the national carrier of the United Arab Emirates, and TAP Air Portugal, Portugal’s national carrier, have launched a frequent flyer partnership. This agreement allows both Etihad Guest and TAP Miles&Go members to earn and redeem their respective loyalty currency with either airline.
Etihad Guest members can use their miles for flights, worldwide hotel stays, and various products available in the Etihad Guest Reward Shop. Meanwhile, TAP Miles&Go members can redeem their miles for flights and exclusive offers available in the TAP Store.

This partnership follows the strategic codeshare established between the two airlines in 2023, enhancing connectivity for their passengers and providing a broader range of destinations through a global network. Both airlines complement each other with service in various locations spanning North and South America, Europe, Africa, Asia, Australia, and the Middle East. This codeshare benefits Etihad Guest members by allowing them to earn rewards for travels to destinations such as Los Angeles, Rio de Janeiro, and Cancun, while TAP Miles&Go members can earn miles exploring Etihad’s expanding destinations like Chiang Mai, Hong Kong, and Medan.
