Launch of the Luxury Childcare Association by Worldwide Kids
An overview of the newly established Luxury Childcare Association aimed at enhancing childcare standards in luxury family travel.
Worldwide Kids has officially launched the Luxury Childcare Association (LCA), marking a significant advancement in childcare standards within the luxury hospitality sector.
The LCA is designed to provide safe and enjoyable experiences for young travelers, ensuring peace of mind for their parents. As stated by Lal Askar, Managing Director at Worldwide Kids:
“As family travel continues to evolve, luxury resorts must meet the growing expectations of discerning guests. The Luxury Childcare Association is designed to ensure that childcare in these exceptional settings matches the quality of service expected throughout the rest of the resort.”
To join the LCA, resorts must adhere to rigorous standards, including annual audits and training for childcare teams through the Worldwide Kids’ International Childcare for Leisure and Tourism programme, accredited by City & Guilds. Staff who complete this training receive diplomas that enhance their professional credentials.
The LCA also aims to elevate the reputation and credibility of its member resorts. Among the first to be awarded the LCA plaque are prestigious hotels such as Mandarin Oriental Jumeira and Atlantis The Palm, displayed proudly outside their kids’ clubs at the Arabian Travel Market 2025.
With over 30 years of experience, Worldwide Kids focuses on creating child-friendly environments, ensuring resorts offer comprehensive and engaging family-friendly services. Through the LCA, these hotels get access to tailored support for enhancing their childcare offerings, which ultimately helps them tap into new markets and boost revenue.
LCA members will also leverage Worldwide Kids’ Digital Safety Platform, designed for operational compliance and efficiency, leading to a consistently safe childcare experience.
