Polaris is set to make a comeback on United Airlines. The airline revealed its plans to launch the Polaris Studio Suites with the introduction of the new Boeing 787-9 Dreamliners, expecting their first flights by early 2026.
United States travelers will soon see significant upgrades to their first-class experience as the Elevated Interior features privacy doors, larger seating, and enhanced entertainment options.
Polaris Studio Features
- Larger Seats: 25% larger than the standard Polaris.
- Companion Ottoman: Provides additional seating for guests.
- 27-inch Entertainment Screen: Offers enhanced viewing during flights.
In addition to the Polaris Studio, other Polaris seats will also receive upgrades, now featuring a 19-inch entertainment screen and privacy doors. The airline is anticipated to operate 99 premium seats, which will be the highest percentage among U.S. carriers.
“We already deliver a superior international experience…and set our airline up to grow into the next decade and beyond,” said Andrew Nocella, Executive Vice President at United Airlines.
These upgrades reflect United’s commitment to maintaining a premium customer experience as they operate flights from their West Coast hub to destinations including Singapore and London.
