The national airline of the United Arab Emirates (UAE), Etihad Airways, has announced impressive figures for its passenger traffic in April 2025, marking a solid 21% growth compared to the same month last year.
- 1.7 million guests have traveled with Etihad in April.
- The airline experienced a passenger load factor of 89%, a notable jump from 84% during the same period in 2024.
- In total, 6.7 million passengers have been served year-to-date, surpassing the total from last year by one million.
Etihad’s CEO, Antonoaldo Neves, expressed optimism, stating:
“With almost seven million guests flown in the first four months alone, we’re building strong momentum toward another record-breaking year.”
Neves emphasized the airline’s commitment to enhanced service quality and passenger experience while they gear up for a busy summer travel season.
