FHRAI's Harit Yoga Event Celebrates International Yoga Day

FHRAI held the Harit Yoga event at its Institute to promote yoga and environmental sustainability on International Yoga Day.

The Federation of Hotel & Restaurant Associations of India (FHRAI), in collaboration with the FHRAI Institute of Hospitality Management (FHRAI-IHM) and the support of the Ministry of Ayush, Government of India, hosted Harit Yoga — A Signature Event as part of the International Day of Yoga 2025 celebrations. The event occurred on Tuesday, 29th April 2025, at the FHRAI-IHM campus in Greater Noida, starting at 10:00 AM.

Bringing together students, hospitality professionals, and wellness advocates, the event celebrated yoga as a powerful tool for harmony, peace, and environmental awareness. Led by expert trainers from Mokshayatan Yog Sansthan, Noida, the session included Yoga experts Yogacharya Mukta Sharma and Yogacharya Divya Sharma, along with support from Yogi Vaibhav, Yogi Rahul, Yogini Nikki, and Yogini Kavita.

As part of the event, saplings were distributed to attendees by Shri S C Suneja and Dr Narendra Kumar, symbolizing a commitment to environmental stewardship.

The celebrations included the Common Yoga Protocol, curated yoga practices, breathing exercises, and guided meditation. The event emphasized that yoga is not only a physical discipline but a holistic lifestyle that nurtures mindfulness, balance, and a deep connection with nature.

This year’s theme, “Harit Yoga: Embrace Nature, Embrace Peace,” emphasized sustainable living and the role of yoga in promoting both personal and planetary health.
