Aviation lessor Azorra has successfully delivered Hunnu Air’s inaugural Embraer E195-E2 aircraft, marking a pivotal moment for Mongolian aviation. This new addition represents a significant enhancement in Hunnu Air’s fleet, linking the company with modern aircraft operations.
The E195-E2 from Azorra’s fleet will bolster Hunnu Air’s expansion plans across key markets in the Asia-Pacific region, promoting both capacity and efficiency. This model is praised for being fuel-efficient, which is crucial in minimizing operational costs and exploring new markets.
John Evans, Azorra’s founder and CEO, stated:
“We are thrilled to deliver Mongolia’s first new Embraer E195-E2 aircraft to our valued partners at Hunnu Air. This is a significant step in the growth of Hunnu Air and a major milestone for the future of aviation in Mongolia.”

Hunnu Air’s CEO, Munkhjargal Purevjal, expressed gratitude towards Azorra and Embraer, noting:
“We are excited about the E195-E2 as it will allow us to enhance our capacity on routes such as Haikou, Sanya, and Phu Quoc, while also expanding services to Japan, China, Vietnam, and introducing flights to Tashkent.”
