Fairmont Hotels & Resorts, a part of the Accor group, proudly announces the opening of Fairmont Golden Prague, marking a new era for one of the city’s most iconic establishments. The hotel, located near Pařížská Boulevard along the Vltava River, showcases a significant multi-million euro renovation of a historic brutalist building.

The renovation highlights the cultural and artistic heritage of the structure, originally designed by Czech architect Karel Filsak in 1974. Under the guidance of head architect Marek Tichý, this redesign honors the building’s architectural integrity while introducing a modern hospitality approach. Crafts such as blown glass chandeliers and ornate wood posts will be restored, creating a sophisticated ambiance that blends contemporary design with Czech influences.
