WTTC Teams Up with VFS Global for 'Together in Travel' Initiative for SMEs

The World Travel & Tourism Council has launched the 'Together in Travel' initiative to support small and medium-sized enterprises in the travel industry with VFS Global as a foundational partner.

In a significant move aimed at uplifting small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) within the global travel industry, the World Travel & Tourism Council (WTTC) has unveiled the Together in Travel SME initiative, welcoming VFS Global as a founding partner. WTTC stands as the sole global body that represents the private sector of travel and tourism across its diverse industries.

VFS Global draws from over two decades of experience in technological innovation and market growth, positioning itself to share insights with a more extensive network of travel enterprises. This initiative is designed to empower SMEs, enabling them to succeed in a continually changing travel landscape.

Creating a More Resilient Tourism Sector

Julia Simpson, WTTC’s President & CEO, remarked:

OMRAN and Diriyah Gate contribute significant insights into destination development, while VFS Global and FINN Partners enhance the ecosystem with visa services and marketing communications support.

This collaboration marks a substantial advancement towards creating a more inclusive, innovative, and sustainable future for global travel and tourism.
