Kuwait Airways has established a strategic partnership with FASTtelco and Ooredoo to enhance its in-flight entertainment options, promoting Kuwait's cultural heritage on a global scale.
In an effort to enhance public-private sector collaboration, Kuwait Airways has signed a significant partnership with FASTtelco, a subsidiary of Ooredoo Kuwait, aimed at improving in-flight entertainment services. This agreement reflects the airline’s commitment to modernize the travel experience by integrating curated content from Platform 51—a digital media initiative powered by FASTtelco and developed by the Ministry of Information.
This initiative is part of Kuwait’s Vision 2035 strategy, emphasizing sustainable projects and digital transformations. During a recent announcement, Captain Abdulmohsen Al-Fagaan highlighted the importance of this collaboration for enhancing customer experiences and promoting Kuwait’s heritage on a global stage.
The partnership came to fruition under the guidance of Saad Nafel Al-Azmi, with the goal of integrating national media content into the airline’s services, thereby expanding its reach to international passengers. Abdulaziz Yaqoub Al-Babtain, CEO of Ooredoo, also noted that this partnership aligns with their commitment to advancing Kuwait’s digital initiatives.
Moving forward, this collaboration is expected to pave the way for deeper, more innovative partnerships that prioritize both customer satisfaction and national growth.
