Oman Air to Reinstate Double-Daily Flights to London
In a response to rising demand, Oman Air is set to resume its double-daily flights to London on October 26.
Oman Air will restart its double-daily flights connecting Muscat to London, commencing on October 26. This decision has been made to address the increasing passenger demand and the solid performance of this key route.
The added service will operate on Mondays, Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays, giving passengers enhanced flexibility for their travel arrangements. It also aims to improve connections with various destinations offered by Oneworld partners, especially across North America. By the summer of 2026, Oman Air plans to provide around 14 return flights weekly from Muscat.
Con Korfiatis, the CEO of Oman Air, stated, “The launch of double-daily flights to London demonstrates the airline’s dedication to meeting high passenger demand, particularly as London serves as a crucial hub within our international network and the UK is a vital tourism market for Oman Air.”
He further noted that this expansion not only supports Oman Air’s operational endeavors but also aligns with the Sultanate of Oman’s strategy to boost its tourism sector while maintaining sustainable growth, particularly as the airline prepares to join the Oneworld alliance.
The updated flight schedule will feature two daily services on specified days, ensuring seamless travel options to the U.S. and other long-haul destinations. The flights will utilize the latest Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner aircraft, which include spacious cabins categorized into three award-winning classes: Business Studio, Business Class, and Economy Class.
