IHG Hotels & Resorts has unveiled plans to launch its midscale conversion brand, Garner, with two properties in India—Garner Etawah in Uttar Pradesh and Garner Kathua in Jammu & Kashmir. The Etawah location is slated to open in 2026, while Kathua is expected to follow in 2027. The development is in collaboration with local partners, reinforcing IHG’s commitment to expanding its presence in India.
The Garner hotels aim to provide high-quality yet affordable accommodations, emphasizing meaningful guest experiences over luxury. Both locations will feature essential amenities tailored for both leisure and business travelers.
Garner Etawah
- Features: 40 keys, a ballroom for events, an all-day dining restaurant, and meeting spaces.
Garner Kathua
- Features: 45 keys, a swimming pool, multi-cuisine dining options, and event spaces.
