
Dusit Expands Its Footprint in India's Hospitality Scene
The Thai hotel management company, Dusit International, aims to grow its presence in India by targeting potential hospitality markets.
Dusit International is on a mission to bolster its presence in India’s hospitality industry with new developments flanking high-potential markets. Following their successful launch of the dusitD2 Fagu in Shimla, they are now focusing on cities such as Bhiwadi, Raipur, Lonavala, Kasol, Kolkata, Manali, and Karnataka, while also targeting Tier 1 areas already in their pipeline.

As stated by Siradej Donavanik, the country’s evolving tourism sector demands high-quality, experience-driven stays. He elaborated on Dusit’s unique ambition to merge Thai-inspired hospitality with local traditions, creating enchanting stays for Indian travelers.
Dusit aims to sign over 100 hotels globally in the next five years, emphasizing its direction toward rapidly developing markets including Vietnam and Japan as well as India. With increased disposable incomes and improved connectivity in India, Dusit anticipates significant growth potential.

They plan to introduce six new hotels nationwide, with properties including the upper-midscale Dusit Princess brand slated to debut in Raipur, Bhiwadi, Kolkata, and Lonavala. Meanwhile, two luxury boutique hotels will emerge in Kasol and Manali, both nestled in the Himalayan foothills.
Beyond immediate expansion, Dusit is committed to building a comprehensive hospitality ecosystem in India, integrating luxury stays, wellness, and upscale culinary experiences while promoting sustainability initiatives through their Tree of Life program, which aligns with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals.
