
Enhancing Passenger Experience
All Nippon Airways (ANA) has partnered with RECARO Aircraft Seating to revolutionize passenger comfort aboard their international flights. The new Premium Economy and Economy Class seats will be progressively introduced on their Boeing 787-9 aircraft starting in fiscal 2026.

Innovative Design Features
The new seating will optimize long-haul travel with advanced ergonomic designs that include an increased seat pitch and enhanced reclining capability. Passengers will also benefit from high-performance monitors, expanded storage, and USB Type C charging, along with Bluetooth audio connectivity.

Details of the New Seats

Premium Economy Class:
- Seat pitch increased to 40 inches (approx. 101 cm).
- Recline adjustments of up to 9 inches (approx. 23 cm).

Economy Class:
- Designed for comfort, with a seat pitch of 33-34 inches and an added inch of space for knee room.
- Recline increased, featuring the latest touch-screen monitors to reduce weight.
