The Australian Travel Industry Association (ATIA) encourages its members to register for the next round of Pulse meetings following great feedback from the initial sessions in February.
Designed to ensure member voices shape industry advocacy, Pulse provides a structured, collaborative platform for members to express concerns, share insights, and engage directly with ATIA’s leadership.
ATIA director of membership and industry affairs Richard Taylor said: “Pulse is about ensuring every member, regardless of their business size or model, has a clear channel to ATIA. The feedback from our first series was evident—this initiative is resonating well and making an impact. We’re gaining momentum, and the upcoming round will delve deeper into the issues that matter most.”
The series caters to four key member segments: independent travel agencies operating in a single location, those in multiple locations, home-based contractors, and tour operators/wholesalers.
Looking Ahead
The initial Pulse meetings witnessed strong attendance and engagement, with members seizing the chance to connect and contribute to ATIA’s policy and engagement agenda.
Michelle Massey of Amplify Accessible Travel Specialists remarked: “The recent ATIA Pulse Forum in February was an invaluable platform to discuss critical industry challenges, connect with fellow agents, and gain insight into ATIA’s advocacy for members. I strongly urge all ATIA members to attend future Pulse meetings—not just for business benefits but for the reassurance that the challenges we face are common across the industry, promoting collaboration and solutions.”
Crucially, the feedback gathered is integral in shaping ATIA’s requests for the upcoming Federal Election.
