
Saudi Arabia's Ministry Takes Action Against Tourism Offices for Violations
The Saudi Ministry of Tourism has initiated penalties against 150 tourism offices for violations of the Tourism Law.
The Saudi Ministry of Tourism has commenced enforcement actions against 150 tourism offices across the Kingdom due to identified infringements of the Tourism Law. These actions follow inspection campaigns where officials discovered operators offering unlicensed services and activities. As a result, penalties will be enforced in accordance with legal regulations.
Approximately 300 inspections were carried out covering regions such as Riyadh, Madinah, Al-Baha, Jazan, and Al-Ahsa, with participation from various government agencies. The Ministry underscored the significance of acquiring necessary licenses to ensure quality service for tourists, adapting to the evolving tourism sector in the Kingdom.
