Bolt Introduces 700 Airport Taxis to Enhance Service

Bolt expands its services at Dubai International Airport by adding 700 airport taxis to its app, making travel more convenient for visitors.

Bolt, the global shared mobility platform, has announced that it will be incorporating approximately 700 vehicles from the Dubai Taxi Company’s dedicated airport fleet into its app. This initiative aims to significantly enhance convenience for travelers arriving at Dubai International Airport (DXB) and Al Maktoum International Airport (DWC), which are recognized as some of the busiest airports worldwide.

The addition of these airport taxis is a direct response to the surge in traveler numbers to Dubai. By allowing users to book taxis seamlessly through the Bolt app, it ensures a smoother and more reliable travel experience from the onset. This step emphasizes Bolt’s commitment to providing innovative and user-friendly transportation options tailored for visitors.

Support for Dubai’s Strategic Goals
This initiative aligns with the Roads and Transport Authority’s (RTA) goal to transition 80% of taxi bookings to online platforms in the near future. Additionally, it strengthens the Dubai Taxi Company’s position as a key player in modern urban mobility and supports its leadership in the transportation sector.

Advantages of Using Bolt App for Airport Transfers

Travelers can benefit from several services when booking via the Bolt app:

  • Schedule rides in advance to bypass long waiting lines.
  • Gain upfront visibility of fares.
  • Access a dedicated fleet of vehicles stationed at both DXB and DWC airports.
