Corporate Traveller Appoints Bonnie Smith as UK General Manager

Corporate Traveller has announced the selection of Bonnie Smith as the new General Manager for its UK operations, a move designed to enhance its presence in the market.

Corporate Traveller, the leading business travel division of Flight Centre Travel Group, has appointed Bonnie Smith as the General Manager for the UK. This decision is part of the company’s initiative dubbed ‘Brightness of Future’, aimed at propelling its market presence.

Bonnie Smith joins the team with an impressive 21 years of experience at Flight Centre, having started as a Travel Consultant in South Africa in 2004 and climbing the ranks through various roles across continents. She will replace the outgoing UK General Manager, Donna Joines, who is transitioning to the General Manager position at the FCM Travel European Service Centre effective April 1st.

“The UK presents a significant opportunity for growth as a key market for Corporate Traveller globally,” Bonnie remarked. “This role offers a blend of personal and professional advancements along with the challenge of adapting to a new market.”

Corporate Traveller’s Global Managing Director, Tom Walley, expressed his optimism regarding Bonnie’s appointment, highlighting that her leadership will continue the exceptional work initiated by Donna Joines.

Moreover, in conjunction with this strategic move, Mummy Mafojane and Herman Heunes were appointed as General Managers for FCM Travel South Africa and Corporate Traveller South Africa, respectively.
