Red Sea Global Collaborates with Oracle for Training Program
They aim to train 5,000 Saudi nationals over the next six months.
Red Sea Global (RSG), the developer behind the global regeneration tourism projects — The Red Sea and AMAALA — has teamed up with Oracle to launch a collaboration that seeks to train 5,000 Saudi nationals over the upcoming six months. This initiative aligns with Oracle’s broader goal of training 50,000 individuals in the Kingdom.
RSG’s new initiative emphasizes their commitment to empowering local communities and nurturing Saudi talent through a regenerative approach. The training will be conducted via Oracle’s Mostaqbali learning platform, delivered through Oracle University, offering a free educational resource aimed at equipping Saudi nationals with necessary IT skills for high-demand jobs.
As Oracle technologies play a crucial role in hotels and resorts at RSG destinations, this program will increase students’ employment opportunities across RSG’s expanding selection of luxury tourism spots.
Sultan Moraished, Group Head of Technology and Corporate Excellence, stated: “This initiative forms part of our commitment to support the growth and development of young Saudi talent across the Kingdom and help them achieve their potential.”
He further noted, “The program builds upon our existing training initiatives through which young Saudis have been offered employment with RSG and our partners.”
RSG aims to create a capable workforce within the hospitality sector that resonates with the objectives of Saudi Vision 2030 by equipping young Saudis with skills through a program organized by a renowned technology leader.
Additionally, there will be a diverse array of Oracle solutions covered, including enterprise applications and cloud infrastructure services, granting participants practical experience and preparing them for roles within RSG’s hotels.
Since 2019, RSG has successfully implemented various educational programs benefiting 1,995 students in fields ranging from luxury hospitality to airport services and wellness. This includes integrating 122 Saudi nationals at the Red Sea International Airport, underscoring RSG’s commitment to providing experiential learning opportunities.
In support of this mission, RSG has recently established the Red Sea National Academy, which aims to train 10,000 individuals by 2030 to meet the evolving demands of the tourism sector.
As RSG continues to develop The Red Sea and AMAALA, with the former already welcoming guests to its operational hotels and expanding international flight routes, this training program is pivotal for cultivating a skilled workforce needed to boost the Kingdom’s growing tourism industry.
