Cathay Pacific Launches Innovative 'I Can Fly' Program to Inspire Youth

Cathay Pacific's flagship youth initiative, 'I Can Fly', begins with a renewed format aimed at fostering young talent in aviation.

Cathay Pacific has launched its community service initiative, ‘I Can Fly’, aimed at inspiring young individuals to follow their dreams in aviation while contributing positively to society.

This year’s program features a revitalized format with activities throughout 2025 centered on Education, Discovery and Exploration as well as social service. Cathay aims to empower approximately 2,000 young people aged 10 to 18 to achieve their ambitions.

The program commenced with two ‘I Can Fly Aviation Explorer Days,’ where 870 students from underprivileged backgrounds were given a unique opportunity to explore aviation with the support of over 70 Cathay volunteers.

Patricia Hwang, the director, welcomed Liu Chun-san, the guest of honor, who praised the initiative, stating:

“Cathay’s ‘I Can Fly’ program is a meaningful initiative that broadens the participants’ horizons.”
