Greater Bay Airlines Ends Support for the 2025-26 Budget Initiatives

Greater Bay Airlines expresses optimism regarding new budget plans aimed at improving Hong Kong's economy and tourism sector.

In the Financial Secretary’s 2025-26 Budget Speech, the Hong Kong SAR Government introduced various initiatives aimed at stimulating economic growth and attracting more visitors to Hong Kong, as well as reinforcing its status as an international aviation hub with projects such as the Airport City initiative.

Liza Ng, the CEO of Greater Bay Airlines, endorsed the Budget, stating that the initiatives would enhance tourism and the aviation sectors, benefiting Hong Kong’s economy overall. She emphasized the airline’s commitment to expanding its fleet, improving existing routes, and incorporating more new destinations into its operations. Ng expressed confidence that Hong Kong would continue to harness new opportunities stemming from both local and global economic developments.
