Air India Unveils 'Maharaja Club Points Plus' Initiative

Air India's latest offer allows frequent flyers to convert bank reward points into Maharaja Points, aiming to enhance customer loyalty.

Air India has launched the ‘Maharaja Club Points Plus’ initiative aimed at helping frequent flyer members enhance their rewards.

This program allows members to convert their bank reward points into Maharaja Points with a potential to earn an additional 50% bonus points during the promotional period from March 6 to March 31, 2025. Through this offer, members can aim to gain 1 million Maharaja Points, which can be redeemed for booking award flights or upgrading cabins on Air India and other Star Alliance airlines.

Maximize Your Rewards

Maharaja Club participants, including those newly enrolled, can convert up to 200,000 Maharaja Points from each eligible bank partner. Here are illustrative redemption options:

  • Four one-way flights from Delhi to Dubai (46,000 Maharaja Points each)
  • Five one-way flights from Mumbai to London (42,000 Maharaja Points each)
  • One round trip from Delhi to New York in Economy Class (124,000 Maharaja Points)
  • Ten round trips from Delhi to Mumbai in Economy Class (150,000 Maharaja Points total)

Eligible Banking Partners

Reward points conversion is available with the following banks: ICICI Bank, HDFC Bank, DBS Bank, and SBI Cards.

How to Avail the Offer

To participate:

  1. Register on the Air India website to become a Maharaja Club member.
  2. Convert a minimum of 5,000 reward points for eligible conversion.
  3. Bonus points are credited within 60 days post-offer expiration after the first transaction per bank. For example:
    • If a member exchanges 100,000 points from HDFC and 50,000 points from ICICI, bonuses apply for both. But if 100,000 are converted twice from HDFC, only the first transaction qualifies for bonuses.

Maharaja Club members enjoy various benefits, including priority services and lounge access, making travel with Air India not just easier but more rewarding.
