Philippines Showcases Top Destinations at 2025 New York Travel & Adventure Expo

The Philippine Department of Tourism (DOT) showcased its premier destinations at the recently concluded New York Travel & Adventure Show, held at the Jacob Javits Convention Centre in New York City on January 25-26, 2025.

For two days, officials promoted the nation’s stunning locales and cultural offerings to engage visitors and spark interest in travel to the Philippines.

Francisco Lardizabal, the Philippine tourism attaché in New York, emphasized the significance of such events, stating:

“We join the Travel & Adventure Shows to inspire more tourists to explore our islands and experience the hospitality and warmth of the Filipino people. Our participation in these events complements our strategy to engage U.S. travelers directly, promoting the Philippines as a top travel destination.”

The meaningful presentation at the expo underlined the U.S. as a key market for Philippine tourism, attracting over 1 million American visitors in 2024 alone, evidencing a rise in travel interest during this period.
