Kuwait Set to Launch Transit Visas to Enhance Tourism

Kuwait plans to issue transit visas aimed at boosting its tourism sector.

Kuwait is set to enhance its tourism by issuing special ’transit’ visas for travelers wishing to enter the country temporarily. These visas will be coordinated exclusively through Kuwait’s national airlines, and travelers must apply in advance. It is essential to note that these visas cannot be renewed.

This initiative follows the remarkable success of the ‘Khaleeji Zain 26’ Championship, which has positively impacted tourism in Kuwait. As a significant transit hub between Europe and Asia, Kuwait aims to attract a larger volume of travelers, especially after the recent opening of Terminal 2 at Kuwait International Airport.
