
Oman Air Secures Second Place for On-Time Performance in MENA for 2024
Oman Air achieved second place in punctuality rankings in the Middle East and Africa for the year 2024, maintaining its position as a leading airline for on-time performance.
Oman Air has been recognized as the second most punctual airline in the Middle East and Africa for 2024, boasting a remarkable 90.27% on-time performance, surpassing the global winner’s score of 86.70%. This marks the third consecutive year Oman Air has held one of the top spots in the region, having achieved first place in 2022 and 2023. The ranking, highlighted in an annual report by Cirium, emphasizes the airline’s reliability. The accolade was awarded to Captain Nasser Al Salmi, the airline’s COO, by Mahesh Jugoo from Cirium during a recent ceremony.
According to Cirium, on-time performance is defined as arriving within 14 minutes and 59 seconds of the scheduled arrival time.

The Cirium On-Time Performance Review is a benchmark for monitoring airline operational efficiency and relies on substantial data from over 600 real-time feeds, including insights from airlines and aviation authorities.
