CUBE Boutique Capsule Hotels Launches New CUBE Social@Boat Quay
A luxurious new chapter in the affordable capsule hotel concept debuts in Singapore.
Following the success of its previous locations, CUBE Boutique Capsule Hotels has introduced its first CUBE Social@Boat Quay, situated in the historic riverside area along the Singapore River.
According to Chief Executive Mohd K Rafin: “Elevated from the original boutique capsule concept, CUBE Social is redesigned to provide well-travelled guests looking for affordable premium lifestyle capsule accommodation while encouraging social interaction in an elegant environment.”
This hotel is located in a restored heritage shophouse in an area that was once a vital trading hub for the founding of Singapore.
CUBE started with its first location in Chinatown in 2016, followed by another in Kampong Glam in February 2018 and a family capsule concept in 2019. The chain focuses on heritage shophouse accommodation in prime locations aimed at culturally savvy travelers.
CUBE aims to deliver high-quality, affordable accommodations without compromising comfort. The hotel features daily housekeeping, 24-hour reception, free Wi-Fi, and modern amenities like universal plugs.
Expansion Plans: Rafin mentioned that they are open to exploring franchising or joint ventures with heritage shophouse owners. The company is particularly eyeing neighboring Southeast Asian countries, including Bali, Vietnam, Hong Kong, Penang, and Sydney for growth.
Similar to its other locations, CUBE Social@Boat Quay consists of 72 capsules with queen-sized and single beds, alongside 13 private rooms designed for small groups and families, one of which is equipped for wheelchair accessibility.
This hotel also includes a women-only section and provides books and board games for socializing.
At CUBE Social@Boat Quay, visitors enter through a beautifully decorated reception area, and nearby, a bar lounge offers relaxed social settings with all-day refreshments and scenic views of the Singapore River.
