Air India Introduces New ‘ZipAhead’ Service for Economy Passengers

Air India has unveiled its ‘ZipAhead’ service, providing Economy Class customers with priority check-in and baggage handling to enhance their travel experience.

Air India has launched a new service called ‘ZipAhead’, designed for Economy Class passengers, offering priority check-in and baggage handling. This service is particularly aimed at travelers looking to save time at airports.

Details about the ‘ZipAhead’ Service

The service features dedicated check-in counters and priority handling for baggage, specifically available from six major airports in India: Delhi, Mumbai, Hyderabad, Chennai, Bengaluru, and Kolkata.

Pricing Model:

  • INR 499 if booked more than 6 hours before departure.
  • INR 699 if booked within 6 hours before the flight.

Passengers can purchase the service up to 75 minutes prior to departure through various platforms, including Air India’s website and mobile app.

Additional Information

Priority services will be free of charge for Platinum and Gold members of Air India’s loyalty program, Maharaja Club, regardless of fare type.
