Pakistan participates in ITB Berlin 2025 to boost tourism

Pakistan tourism officials and professionals made their way to this year’s ITB Berlin, actively promoting their nation in Europe.
Led by representatives of the Green Tourism Company, the Pakistani delegation showcased various tourism initiatives from March 4th to 6th.

The country’s pavilion was inaugurated by Saqlain Syedah, the Pakistani ambassador to Germany, featuring traditional crafts, music, and specialties.

A Rapidly Growing Sector

Tourism has been designated a priority by Pakistan’s Special Investment Facilitation Council (SIFC) in economic terms. The participation at ITB Berlin casts the spotlight on Pakistan’s tourism sector, emphasizing emerging trends, sustainability, and social responsibility in tourism. Despite facing infrastructure and security challenges, Pakistan’s tourism receipts soared by 64% as of Q3 2024, illustrating its crucial role in the economy.
