Held at Hotel Clarks Amer, Jaipur, the three-day Jaipur Music Stage came to life each evening following the Jaipur Literature Festival’s inspiring sessions. The first night showcased two performances honoring the timeless verses of medieval poets Amir Khusrau and Kabir Das—Abhijit Pohankar’s Hazrat Amir Khusrau Project and a rock-opera rendition of Kabir’s baani by the acclaimed Dastaan LIVE.
The second evening featured performances by singer-songwriter Kamakshi Khanna and a remarkable collaboration between vocalist Susheela Raman, guitarist Sam Mills, and 13th-generation Nagada player Nathoo Lal Solanki, culminating in a beloved rendition of Yeh Mera Diwanapan Hai.
Music and literature enthusiasts flocked to the grand finale, where Carnatic-Pop sensation Hrishi thrilled the audience with his innovative blend of Western pop and Carnatic influences, amassing over 300,000 followers and 30 million views online.
The highlight of the evening was the legendary Kailash Kher and his band KAILASA, a Padma Shri award-winning artist celebrated for his soul-stirring fusion of folk, Sufi, and contemporary music, who inspired the audience with his iconic songs.
The 18th edition of the Jaipur Literature Festival 2025 will continue with dynamic discussions and presentations on February 2nd and 3rd at the same venue, promising an encore of musical excellence at the Jaipur Music Stage in 2026.
