FLT Reports AUD$117 Million Profit for First Half of FY2025

Flight Centre Travel Group announced a strong financial performance, achieving an AUD$117 million profit in the first half of the 2025 fiscal year.

Flight Centre Travel Group Reports Strong Profit

Flight Centre Travel Group (ASX:FLT) has announced an underlying profit before tax of AUD$117 million (approximately USD$76.4 million) for the first half of the 2025 fiscal year, marking a 7% year-on-year growth.

The corporate segment experienced a 2% increase in Total Transaction Value compared to the previous fiscal year’s first half, alongside a 4% increase in underlying profit before tax of AUD$96 million during a consolidation phase aiming for profitable growth.

Steve Norris, the Managing Director for EMEA, stated:

“Business travel continues to be a necessity, rather than a luxury, for many companies – it’s one of the key facets for them to survive and thrive across the EMEA region and beyond.”

He highlighted significant progress in the last six months of 2024 towards enhancing service through productive operations and advancements in AI technology.

Chris Galanty, the Global Corporate CEO, mentioned:

“The corporate pillar of Flight Centre Travel Group has once again achieved a record Total Transaction Value (TTV) of AUD$6 billion in the first half of the fiscal year.”

Galanty emphasized the positive impact of investments in the Productive Operations initiative and projected a potential 15-20% boost in productivity gains between FY24 and FY26.

Upcoming growth looks promising, with over AUD$800 million in new accounts secured thus far this financial year. The focus will continue on expanding through targeted sectors and leveraging AI technology to improve efficiencies in the business.
