Royal Caribbean's Historic Arrival in Bali

Royal Caribbean's Anthem of the Seas makes its inaugural docking in Bali, enhancing the cruise experience for travelers.

Royal Caribbean reached a significant milestone on 27th February when its ship, Anthem of the Seas, docked in Bali, Indonesia, for the first time ever.

This achievement is a result of a collaboration between Royal Caribbean and PT Pelabuhan Indonesia (Pelindo). Initially intended as a tendering stop, the docking directly at Benoa now makes the experience more convenient for guests, thereby elevating their overall journey.

A Commitment to Excellence

This landmark event stems from a 14-year partnership between Royal Caribbean and Pelindo, highlighting their dedication to enhancing cruise tourism in the area. With Bali’s rich cultural heritage and breathtaking landscapes, this itinerary adjustment will further solidify its status as a prime destination.

Pelindo’s President-Director, Arief Suhartono, remarked: > “The ability to dock alongside in Benoa is a game-changer for Bali as a cruise destination, demonstrating the port’s growing capabilities to welcome some of the world’s largest and most advanced ships, such as the Anthem of the Seas.”
(Translation: The ability to dock directly in Benoa changes the game for Bali as a cruise destination, showing the port’s increasing capacity to accommodate large and advanced vessels.)

Strengthening its presence in the region, Ovation of the Seas is set to dock in Bali in April 2025.
