Marriott International to Introduce Autograph Collection Hotels in Somabay

Somabay is pleased to announce that it has signed an agreement with Marriott International to introduce the group’s esteemed Autograph Collection Hotels at the destination. This collaboration will bolster the tourism appeal along Egypt’s eastern coastline, enhancing its reputation as a premier lifestyle destination.

The new Autograph Collection property is scheduled to open in 2027 and will encompass 194 rooms, cabanas, and suites, each with terraces or outdoor decks providing unobstructed sea views. The resort will feature a variety of dining venues and comprehensive business facilities, further solidifying Somabay’s status as a MICE travel destination. Additional amenities will include a diving center, state-of-the-art fitness center, pool, spa, and children’s club, ensuring guests enjoy top-notch lifestyle facilities.

Located on Egypt’s eastern coast along the Red Sea, Somabay is ideally situated just a short drive from Hurghada International Airport. The Autograph Collection currently boasts over 320 hotels globally, each uniquely designed to reflect the individual vision of its founder, offering guests immersive and memorable experiences.

This agreement marks Somabay’s second collaboration with Marriott International, following the establishment of The Sheraton Soma Bay Resort in 1999, which is currently undergoing extensive renovations to align with the new Sheraton brand identity.
