The Ritz-Carlton Yacht Collection is introducing its inaugural Alaska itineraries aboard the superyacht, Luminara. This series of voyages, scheduled from May to September 2026, includes 13 curated journeys to 11 stunning ports in Alaska and Canada.

Exploring Alaska’s Natural Beauty

These journeys will combine popular sites with lesser-known treasures, allowing visitors to fully appreciate Alaska’s breathtaking scenery. Highlights will include the awe-inspiring Hubbard Glacier and Sawyer Glacier, as well as visits to famous towns like Juneau, Ketchikan, and Sitka.

Yet the adventure extends beyond major attractions. Itineraries will also feature remote locations like the village of Klawock, the whale-watching site Icy Strait Point, and the pristine beauty of Wrangell. Scenic stops will showcase the dramatic landscapes of Valdez, Petersburg, Haines, and Prince Rupert.

Unforgettable Experiences

Departures will be from Whittier, Alaska, and Vancouver, British Columbia, providing a range of embarkation options for guests. Noteworthy experiences will include helicopter excursions over Mahoney Falls, kayaking at Klawock Lake, and wildlife activities such as whale watching at Icy Strait Point and eagle observation at Chilkat Bald Eagle Preserve. Guests can also delight in local seafood tastings and guided hikes in secluded areas.

The Luxurious Luminara

Luminara, the third yacht in The Ritz-Carlton fleet, will begin operations in July 2025, accommodating 452 guests. Its design enables navigation through narrow channels and access to less-frequented stops, assuring a personal cruising experience.

New onboard features include expanded Residential Suites, enhanced pool areas, and new dining experiences, such as a Beach House by Michael Mina, ensuring guests receive top-tier luxury and comfort throughout their journey.
