
Accor Reports Record Growth with 11% Revenue Increase for 2024
Accor announced impressive financial results for 2024, showcasing significant growth in revenue and hotel portfolio expansion amidst a challenging market.
Accor has reported impressive results for the fiscal year 2024, with revenue reaching €5,606 million, a notable increase of 11% compared to the previous year. This growth comes alongside a 12% rise in recurring EBITDA, which totaled €1,120 million.
Performance Highlights
- RevPAR Increased by 5.7%: The company’s average revenue per available room (RevPAR) showed notable growth, demonstrating resilience in a fluctuating market.
- Expansion of Hotel Portfolio: In 2024, Accor successfully launched 293 hotels adding over 50,000 rooms to its portfolio, marking a net growth of 3.5%. By December 2024, the group operated 5,682 hotels with a total of 850,285 rooms.
Q4 2024 Insights
- Regional Performance Variance: The Premium, Midscale and Economy sector reported a 4% rise in RevPAR. The Middle East, Africa, and Asia-Pacific regions, however, experienced a 5% uplift in RevPAR compared to the same quarter the previous year.
- Growth Drivers: Much of the RevPAR increase stemmed from rising rates and occupancy, particularly in high-demand regions like Saudi Arabia and Southeast Asia.
