Tourism Malaysia highlights its attractions and partnerships at the Tehran exhibition in an effort to promote the country as a prime tourist destination.
Tourism Malaysia marked its fifteenth consecutive participation at the Tehran International Tourism Exhibition (TITE) 2025 in Iran from February 11 to 14.
Clear Focus on Promotions
The initiative aimed to enhance tourism promotions and foster valuable business partnerships throughout the region.
Tourism Malaysia showcased its Visit Malaysia Year 2026 (VM2026) campaign, highlighting the country’s attractions, unique cultural heritage, and diverse tourism offerings to the Iranian audience.
Throughout the four-day exhibition, valuable networking sessions were held with Iranian travel experts and key industry players.
Dedicated Pavilion for Showcasing
Tourism Malaysia’s presence was emphasized through a dedicated pavilion featuring nine booths from prominent partners like tour operators, hotels/resorts, and airlines.

The exhibition offered Iranian visitors appealing destinations such as Kuala Lumpur, Genting Highlands, Langkawi, and Penang, tailored to diverse market segments from retail to family activities.
Active Engagement
In addition to TITE, Tourism Malaysia organized a Sales Mission traversing Shiraz, Isfahan, and Tehran, showcasing the diverse tourism products Malaysia has to offer.
Targeted presentations and media conferences were held to engage local media, culminating in a dinner featuring a presentation on the Malaysia Truly Asia theme.
These efforts aim to provide insights into Malaysia’s vibrant tourism industry as it gears up for the Visit Malaysia Year 2026.
