To celebrate Thailand’s prominent role in the latest season of HBO’s The White Lotus, the Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT) initiated a new microsite that presents an immersive virtual experience across the beautiful sites depicted in the show.
Chief locations showcased include Koh Samui, Phuket, and Bangkok. This platform allows TAT to highlight famous tourist destinations and activities alongside lesser-known cultural and culinary experiences.
A Diverse Range of Experiences
The microsite offers insights into Thailand’s rich culture, delectable cuisine, and scenic beauty, aiming to inspire visitors with five must-do experiences. Various unique spots, such as Mu Ko Ang Thong National Park near Koh Samui and the bustling markets of Bangkok, enrich the visitor’s journey with the country’s extensive offerings.
Quote from Chompu Marusachot:
“Thailand provides a perfect setting for The White Lotus, showcasing breathtaking scenery and cultural gems. We are excited to celebrate the third season’s release and share our Amazing Thailand with a global audience!”
Furthermore, Marusachot emphasized that Thailand is fully prepared to welcome discerning travelers attracted by its vibrant culture, picturesque landscapes, pristine beaches, gourmet delights, and exceptional hospitality.
With the global popularity of The White Lotus, the series is anticipated to further enhance Thailand’s reputation as a prime location for film and television productions.
