Unique Experience for Children Battling Cancer from Emirates and Fondazione Milan

Emirates and Fondazione Milan collaborated to offer a memorable experience for eleven children facing oncological challenges, featuring a match day at San Siro.

To mark International Childhood Cancer Day, Emirates and Fondazione Milan provided an extraordinary experience to eleven children battling oncological diseases during the Derby della Madonnina on 2 February. The event was hosted in collaboration with Fondazione Veronesi, which has been supporting scientific research to provide greater hope for young patients.

The guests visited exclusive areas of San Siro stadium, welcomed First Team players, and received a special greeting from Zlatan Ibrahimović, who inspired them with his words. They took a lap around the pitch during the warm-up and met Milanello, the Club mascot, and speaker Gegio.

After watching the game with their parents, children had another opportunity to meet the AC Milan players, who signed Emirates’ merchandise like the 2024/25 Home Jersey and took keepsake photos.

In previous seasons, Emirates has also implemented similar initiatives:

  • 23-24 AC Milan v Salernitana (25 May 2024): Emirates gifted 11 mascot places to ASD Sporting Murialdo, supporting underprivileged youth with sports scholarships.
  • 24-25 AC Milan v Genoa (15 Dec 2024): Emirates provided 11 mascot places to ASD Fenice, helping disadvantaged youth overcome socioeconomic barriers through sports.
