Air India’s cabin crew recreated iconic moments in New York City to celebrate the launch of non-stop flights to Newark (EWR).

Air India began operating its flagship A350-900 aircraft for direct flights between Delhi and Newark, enhancing its New York services.

Air India’s cabin crew donned new uniforms designed by Manish Malhotra and embarked on a cinematic journey capturing iconic locations from Hollywood and Bollywood films:

• Lunch Atop a Skyscraper: The crew recreated the famous 1932 photograph at Rockefeller Plaza.
• Gapstow Bridge: Known for its appearances in films like Home Alone 2.
• The MET: Featured in series like Gossip Girl and films like Ocean’s 8.
• Times Square: A backdrop for many movies, the crew enjoyed walking through it under bright neon lights.
• New York Taxis: These yellow cabs symbolize the city’s vibrancy.
• The Pierre Hotel: Remembered as the site of a famous tango scene from Scent of a Woman.
• Sutton Place Park: A spot from the movie Manhattan.

These visual moments expressed the pride and excitement of a new Air India experience in New York.
