Launch of the New 'Ampersand' Campaign by VisitSPC

Visit St. Pete-Clearwater (VisitSPC), the designated tourism authority for Pinellas County, introduced its new campaign named ‘Ampersand,’ inviting travelers to uncover diverse adventures in Florida’s ultimate destination. The campaign showcases a variety of experiences, emphasizing the area’s reputation beyond its stunning beaches.

‘Over the years, visitors have discovered that St. Pete-Clearwater offers much more than its award-winning beaches,’ stated Steve Grimes, CMO of Visit St. Pete-Clearwater. “Through our recent surveys, we’ve seen that people are increasingly enjoying not just the famous white sand beaches but also our diverse dining options, world-class museums, outdoor adventures, and vibrant nightlife.”

The campaign not only accentuates the breathtaking beaches but also highlights the local culture, adventure opportunities, and culinary experiences available. Furthermore, it will be marketed through various traditional and digital channels, expanding its reach to new markets including major cities in the U.S. and Canada.

Despite facing challenges from extreme weather, St. Pete-Clearwater has celebrated significant tourism growth, welcoming over 15 million visitors in the past year.

This comprehensive campaign aims to elevate the St. Pete-Clearwater brand as a must-visit destination in travelers’ agendas for 2025.
