Perth Welcomes New Direct Flights to Bali
West Australians are set to enjoy more travel options as TransNusa, a premium airline across Asia Pacific, announces its direct flights from Perth to Bali starting March 20, 2025.
A Testament to Perth’s Leisure Market
Kate Holsgrove, Chief Commercial and Aviation Officer at Perth Airport, expressed excitement about welcoming TransNusa. She emphasized the importance of the leisure market, stating:
“The introduction of TransNusa to Perth will provide a new option for our passengers to visit the popular holiday destination of Bali in 2025. The Airbus A320 service will provide more than 127,000 seats into this popular market per year.”
Expanding Travel Choices
Group CEO of TransNusa, Datuk Bernard Francis, highlighted the significance of the Bali-Perth route, which often attracts the most tourists annually. He remarked:
“The Bali-Perth international route is a golden route, with high tourist numbers coming from Perth.”
Passengers can expect comfortable travel with an Airbus A320, offering 174 seats and up to 30 inches of legroom, along with baggage options ranging from 15 to 30kgs.
Flight Schedule and Future Plans
Initially, TransNusa will operate three flights per week on Monday, Thursday, and Saturday. This will increase to daily service by June 1, 2025 to accommodate growing demand.
