Delta Airlines Announces Nonstop Flights from Los Angeles to Melbourne Starting December 2025

Delta enhances its Australian presence with new nonstop services to Melbourne, showcasing its premium offerings and connectivity.

Delta is further enhancing its service in Australia with a new nonstop flight from Los Angeles (LAX) to Melbourne (MEL), set to begin in December 2025.

This route offers travelers convenience and access to one of Australia’s most vibrant cities while ensuring the award-winning service that Delta is known for. Passengers will travel aboard the Airbus A350-900, enjoying the top-tier facilities at LAX including the luxurious Delta One Lounge.

This new service marks Melbourne as Delta’s third nonstop destination in Australia, following Sydney and Brisbane, and extends Delta’s reach in the South Pacific to five cities.

Customers will experience enhanced services at LAX with more than 150 departures to nearly 60 destinations, and connections to over 40 U.S. cities from Melbourne. Delta’s $2.3 billion investment at LAX includes state-of-the-art facilities and a world-class check-in experience.
