Cruising with Susan Calman, the beloved Channel 5 show, is back for a festive episode featuring a journey along Germany’s Rhine and Main rivers aboard APT Travelmarvel’s Contemporary Ship, Vega. The episode will air on Friday, December 27 at 8:00 PM and will be available on demand at channel5.com.

This festive special takes viewers through magical Christmas markets, showcasing delicious Bavarian delicacies and exploring charming towns such as Nuremberg, Bamberg, Wurzburg, Rothenburg, Miltenburg, and Cologne.

For a unique holiday experience, travelers can partake in Travelmarvel’s eight-day Reflections of the Rhine & Main cruise, which includes visits to various Christmas Markets. The journey costs around £2,495 per person and features numerous amenities including meals, local wines, and guided tours. There’s also a special new cruise journey titled the Rhine & Moselle Christmas Markets, launching on December 2, 2025.
