As part of this relaunch, significant renovations are planned for several key properties:

  • Baines’ Lodge in Botswana’s Okavango Delta and Gorilla Forest Lodge in Uganda will undergo major renovations, set to reopen in mid-2025.
  • New Kitirua Plains Lodge will be introduced in Amboseli National Park, offering stunning views of Mount Kilimanjaro, with an expected opening in early 2026.

Additionally, A&K Sanctuary plans to launch Pure Amazon, a boutique riverboat in Peru, in June 2025. This will mark the brand’s first venture into South America, showcasing its dedication to offering immersive travel experiences.

With roots deeply embedded in Africa, A&K Sanctuary embodies the original luxury safari spirit cultivated by Geoffrey Kent over sixty years ago. “We are thrilled to introduce A&K Sanctuary to the world, complete with a revitalised brand identity and ambitious plans for global expansion,” stated Cristina Levis, CEO of A&K Travel Group.

To further enhance its offerings, A&K Sanctuary has prioritized sustainable practices and community engagement, ensuring that tourism benefits both guests and local communities through initiatives in wildlife conservation and education.

Looking Forward

A&K Sanctuary is set to redefine luxury travel through its renewed focus on guest experience and commitment to sustainability. With unique branding for each property, guests can look forward to more personalized and authentic encounters during their travels.
