Singapore recorded approximately 15.13 million visitor arrivals as of 30th November 2024, exceeding the lower limit of its annual target.
In the month of November alone, around 1.23 million visitors arrived in Singapore, marking an increase of 12.2% compared to the previous year.
This growth represents a 22.3% year-on-year rise when considering the inbound visitor volume from January to November, where a total of 15.13 million visitors arrived.
The Singapore Tourism Board (STB) estimated that visitors in 2024 would contribute between SGD 27.5 billion and SGD 29 billion in spending.
Notably, Indonesia has become the largest source of visitors to Singapore, surpassing China in November with 194,440 arrivals, while China recorded 174,750 and Malaysia 101,920.
This shift indicates changing dynamics in tourism demographics, with 2.89 million visitors from China registered from January to November this year, signaling a recovery of around 86.27% compared to pre-pandemic levels in 2019.
