Turkish Airlines Launches Its Largest International Lounge at Tokyo Narita Airport

Turkish Airlines has inaugurated its largest overseas lounge at Narita International Airport, enhancing the travel experience for passengers.

Turkish Airlines has opened its largest overseas lounge at Narita International Airport in Tokyo. Opening a seventh lounge outside of Türkiye signifies the airline’s commitment to providing its renowned hospitality to travelers worldwide.

At the lounge’s inauguration, Ümit Develi, Turkish Airlines’ VP of Sales Far East & Oceania, remarked: “We are glad to open our largest overseas lounge at Tokyo’s Narita Airport, offering our guests a space that harmonizes Turkish hospitality with Japanese elegance, which symbolizes over a century of close relations between our nations. The lounge reflects our dedication to enhancing the travel experience and strengthening our presence in the Asia-Pacific region.”

Akihiko Tamura, President & CEO of Narita International Airport Corporation, stated: “We sincerely appreciate the establishment of the lounge at Narita Airport. Turkish Airlines has greatly contributed to the expansion of Narita Airport’s network, and we are truly honored that the airline has chosen this location for its second lounge in Asia.”

Located in Terminal 1 South Wing, Satellite 4, Gate 47, this lounge will cover approximately 1,500 m² after the second phase is complete. The first phase alone spans over 800 m² and accommodates up to 105 passengers.

Open daily from 07:30 to 21:45, access to the lounge will be available for Miles & Smiles Elite Plus, Elite cardholders, Miles & Smiles Elite Corporate cardholders, and Star Alliance Gold members traveling in business class with Star Alliance partner airlines.

Designed for luxury and comfort, the lounge includes a variety of amenities such as buffet-style dining featuring Turkish, Japanese, and Far Eastern cuisines, highlighted by a unique Turkish pide oven. Additional facilities include relaxation areas, shower rooms, and a VIP room, making it a first-class experience.

With the addition of this lounge, Turkish Airlines now operates seven exclusive lounges at international airports, ensuring exceptional service and the warm touch of Turkish hospitality globally.
