Global Hospitality Leader Accor Unveils New Hotel in Vietnam

Accor has recently announced the signing of its latest luxury venture, Sofitel Diamond Crown Hai Phong in Vietnam, scheduled to debut in 2026.

The new Sofitel hotel is being developed in collaboration with DOJI Group and is projected to be the first hotel in the Diamond Crown Hai Phong complex, featuring advanced facilities within a grand 45-story structure.

This hotel will expand Accor’s presence in Vietnam, contributing to the brand’s stronghold in Southeast Asia alongside existing properties like Sofitel Legend Metropole Hanoi and Sofitel Saigon Plaza. Following the recent signing of Sofitel Sapa Hotel & Residences, this new project reinforces Vietnam as one of Sofitel’s foremost markets in Southeast Asia.

Significant Collaboration

Maud Bailly, CEO of Sofitel, expressed excitement about this addition, stating:

With the signing of Sofitel Diamond Crown Hai Phong, Accor aims to double the Sofitel brand’s footprint in Vietnam by 2025, enhancing its visibility in the region while focusing on cultural connections and enriching travel experiences.

Upon opening, Sofitel Diamond Crown Hai Phong is anticipated to serve as a vibrant center for luxury, hospitality, entertainment, and conferences, attracting international visitors and enriching the luxury offerings for residents. The hotel will feature 231 opulent rooms, serviced apartments, and an array of world-class amenities, including an infinity pool, spa, conference facilities, and dedicated services tailored to a sophisticated clientele.
