Qatar Airways to Launch Airbus A350 on Key Routes

Qatar Airways plans to utilize the Airbus A350 on several major routes, making fleet adjustments starting in early 2025.

Qatar Airways plans to make significant adjustments to its fleet starting from early 2025, incorporating the Airbus A350 on various international routes. Here are some highlights of the upcoming changes:

Fleet Adjustments by Route

  1. Doha (DOH) – London Gatwick (LGW)

    • The airline will begin deploying Airbus A350-900 aircraft to this route on three of its ten weekly flights from February 2 to March 28, 2025.
  2. Doha (DOH) – Manila (MNL)

    • From March 30, 2025, the route will transition from Boeing 777-300ER to Airbus A350-1000.
  3. Doha (DOH) – Hong Kong (HKG)

    • Starting January 2025, A350-900 aircraft will serve one of the two daily frequencies.
  4. Doha – Geneva (GVA)

    • Service reductions will take place in May 2025, scaling down from daily flights to five weekly using the A350-900.

These adjustments reflect Qatar Airways’ commitment to modernizing its fleet and enhancing passenger experience.
