Steve Wahrlich Appointed as Chairperson of BWH Hotels Board

BWH Hotels recently elected Steve Wahrlich to serve as the chairperson for the board of directors, bringing a wealth of experience in hospitality.

BWH Hotels has elected Steve Wahrlich as its new chairperson for the board of directors as of December 16, 2024.

Previously serving as the vice-chair, Wahrlich brings over 40 years of experience in hospitality and ownership within BWH Hotels. Larry Cuculic, President and CEO of BWH Hotels, emphasized Wahrlich’s long-standing commitment and extensive expertise in the industry, noting that his leadership will be crucial in guiding the organization towards achieving its strategic goals.

Reflecting on his new role, Wahrlich expressed his gratitude, stating: “It is a tremendous honour to be selected as the board chairperson of BWH Hotels. Having been part of this extraordinary company for many years, I’ve had the privilege of witnessing our evolution into a global hospitality powerhouse.”

Wahrlich has owned various BWH Hotels properties, including the Best Western Plus Clocktower Inn in Billings, Montana, and the Best Western Plus Hilltop in Redding, California. His dedication to hospitality has earned accolades such as the TripAdvisor Travelers’ Choice Award for several consecutive years.
