Air Arabia has announced the launch of its direct flights connecting Sharjah and Athens. Starting in June 2024, the airline will operate weekly flights on Tuesdays, Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays, aiming to bridge business and leisure travel between the UAE and Greece.

This service is part of Air Arabia’s ongoing efforts to expand its footprint in Europe. The CEO of Air Arabia Group, Adel Al Ali, mentioned,

“We are pleased to announce the start of our non-stop service connecting Sharjah with Athens, a city known for its rich history, culture, and business opportunities. The launch of Air Arabia’s flights to Athens reflects our continued commitment to providing our customers with seamless connectivity between the two cities while offering accessible and affordable travel options.”

The flight details are as follows:

• Sharjah to Athens: Flight G9 684, departing SHJ at 09:00 and arriving in ATH at 13:05
• Athens to Sharjah: Flight G9 685, departing ATH at 13:55 and arriving in SHJ at 19:50

These new routes promise to strengthen economic and cultural ties between the UAE and Greece, providing valuable opportunities for travelers.
